While at the Society of Skeptical Enquirers' conference, 15-year-old ghostalker Ropa is drawn into a locked room mystery when one of the magical attendees steals a priceless scroll, and must use her gift to track down the culprit in an ancient castle rife with deadly politics and alliances.
